Spring-ing into May, Looking Back at April

Amazing things are going on in Camden!

Will you be a part of them?

April was a fruitful month in Camden and we're thankful for all of the ways God has moved and cared for this city. You have the opportunity to become a partner with Wholesome Riches and have a tangible impact on the City of Camden.

"...I have fun and I get to serve my community."

Wholesome Riches has the privilege of serving alongside so many amazing students from the Camden City School District! These students come out of the school with their teacher (during the school day!) to directly serve the neighborhood in which they live.

The liveliness, energy and hard work of these students (Grades 7 and up) has been an encouragement to staff, volunteers and those in the community!

Impacting Students and Families at H.B. Wilson Family School

"We take value and pride in what we do as a corporation, and we want the community to know that we're out here supporting in any way that we can." - Brittany Addison, Community Relations Specialist, Covanta

"It's always great to have the kids come out and serve the community that they live in. It's good to see the community interact with our students. It's a great opportunity."

- Ms. Manino (on the left), Family Operations Coordinator, H.B. WIlson Family School

On April 6th, Wholesome Riches had the privilege of hosting a highly interactive Community Service Class with students at H.B. Wilson Family School. It was a productive day!

Students collaborated to identify specific needs in their community and learned how community service can serve those needs. These students know this firsthand because this class participates in distributions each month! We are so thankful for their work.

We're thankful for the organizations that came out to serve in April!

Cleaning Up Camden

Wholesome Riches was at Mayor Carstarphen's Camden City Clean-Up on April 26 and had a great time connecting with the community and city officials.

We'd also like to thank Keystone Montgomeryville and Keystone South Jersey for serving at this event!

Camden Student Shines as Lead Actor in "Big George Foreman"

Creative Arts High School Students and Staff went to the movies on April 27 for the premiere of "Big George Foreman," starring a former Creative Arts HS Student, Khris Davis, in the lead role!

Wholesome Riches founder, Michele Pilla and Board Member (and Principal of Creative Arts HS) Davida Coe-Brockington, were amazed to see their former student on the big screen!

Thank you!

Thank you for your financial support, hands-on involvement and prayers for this mission.

We couldn't do this without you and we look forward to seeing

the impact of your commitment.
